Ok, let's be transparent here: this is not the type of gun you want to use in a 5000 package a day shipping operation. You want our Italian made guns for that.  Still, there are some people, offices, smaller businesses etc that don't ship even 50 packages a year and this is perfect.

We sourced this gun to be a nice balance of quality and price.  You give up a little on the former and you score big time on the latter. A metal frame, of course.  This unit has an adjustable brake (the red knob on the triangular core holder).  We did spend extra and spec'ed a foam handle. That comes from thousands of man-hours holding handles like these.  You'll find this a comfort to hold and use.

We've set this up with two rolls of tape. Not enough to fill a UPS truck but certainly enough to get an average non-industrial user well on their way to getting their package well on its way.
